The sculpting tools I use. The #5 from the left is my universal tool which I use for almost everyhing.
i love tools! usually i go down town and look for odd shaped kitchen knives or those with good grips on them, and go back to our workshop and shape them some more, i use them for carving styro foam, thanks a bunch for posting this now i have an idea what kind of tools to use for sculpting clay
I've been looking for the tools on the right, the 5 pieces on the far right. Got any links where I can get those cheap?
I got them on eBay, you should look for "dental tools", better if stainless steel or they wont last so much.
Such a nice set. I just use whatever's handy. Toothpicks, thumb tacks, box cutters, spoons, forks... y'know how they did "meatball surgery" on M*A*S*H*? This is like "meatball kitbashing."
I strictly limit the number of the tools cause I HATE to mess up my working table, to me more than these at the same time on the same table is an unbearable mess.
I'm somewhat proud of the work I do, because I don't have the higher-end tools and supplies that you do, but I still produce stuff I'm quite happy with ^^ In other words, I can do more with less.
well, not so higher-end tools and supplies... some expensive as hell yes, but I must admit the most I enjoy is when I can shape the clay by hands with my own fingers using no tools at all
what is #3 #4 called? i had one and broke it, now i want a new one but dont the name of the tool :/
